“I have been seeing Todd at Heartwood Healing Collective for a few years now for integrated therapy (visceral manipulation, cranial sacral therapy, etc.) and the treatments have become a huge part of my overall wellness.
I’ll admit that as a registered nurse trained in the traditional Western medical model, I’ve always been a bit skeptical of alternative medicine. I also live with a chronic, incurable disease (type 1 diabetes) and am well aware that conventional medical practices are necessary to keep me alive and healthy.
However, as an adjunct or complementary treatment, the integrated therapy I receive at Heartwood Healing Collective has been such a game changer. It has helped immensely with headaches, muscle tension, back pain, and digestive issues, to name the biggest things. I do not rely solely on integrated therapy to treat these ailments, but I have used it in conjunction with conventional treatments prescribed by my doctor and personally I have found that integrated therapy has enhanced my healing and overall well-being.
Additionally, not only do I feel physically better following my appointments, but the sessions themselves are extremely meditative. I always treasure the time I am able to really relax and disconnect with the stress and anxiety that is daily life.
